Archbishop Simon led the Divine Liturgy in Ostend.

February 17, 2018 the Archbishop of Brussels and Belgian Simon visited the renovated church and headed the Divine Liturgy here.

Archpriest Gennady (Katamashvili), clergyman of the Church of the Nativity of Christ in the city of Antwerp, Priest Clement (Samovarov), rector of the Holy Righteous Anna Church in Brussel, Priest Andrew (Pope) and deacon Vladimir (Shitikov), cleric of the Church of St. John the Theologian in Ostend.

There were a lot of guests from Antwerp, Brussels and Rotterdam from the parish of the holy and blessed Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky.

Archbishop Simon blessed all those present for Lent and gave important instructions for love of neighbor, forgiveness, humility and inner work on oneself. After the service, everyone was waiting for a treat, during which warm wishes were addressed to Archbishop Simon, rector and parishioner of the church of St. John the Theologian.
